Gift Aid
Why should I use Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is one of the easiest ways to make your donation tax effective.
A Gift Aid example: Although basic rate tax is currently 22 per cent, a
donation for £10 is treated as the amount after tax is deducted from
£12.80 (£12.80 minus 22 per cent is approximately £10). AUD-M-ED
gets £2.80 back from the Inland Revenue, or an additional 28 per
cent for basic rate taxpayers.
How much Gift Aid will my donation
generate?

Aid.
How do I sign up for Gift

You need to state that you want the tax paid
on your donation to go to AUD-M-ED rather than Inland Revenue.

Gift Aid - do I
qualify?
Providing you pay as much tax as AUD-M-ED will
be entitled to reclaim on your donations, you are entitled to use Gift Aid. For
example, if you wish to Gift Aid donations that total £100 in one financial

year. |
